BLEG, BMEG, and BEG Glulam Hangers*:

The BLEG and BMEG hanger top flange is made from 7 gauge steel. The stirrup is formed into a “u” shape and welded to the top flange. One inch or 3/4” bolts are required for the beam and header connections. This hanger is finished in shop primer.

A BEG hanger is similar to the BLEG and BMEG except its top flange is made from 3 gauge steel. The stirrup is formed into a “u” shape and welded to the top flange. One inch or 3/4” bolts are required for the beam and header connections. This hanger is finished in shop primer.

BGLS and BGLST Glulam Hangers:

The BGLS hanger is designed to saddle over a header beam and carry a beam on both sides of the header. The saddle is made from 1/4” steel formed into an upside down “U” shape and the stirrups are made from 3/16” steel formed into a “u” shape. The stirrups are welded to the saddle. Nails are required for the header and beam connections. This hanger is finished with shop primer.

The BGLST hanger is similar to the BGLS hanger except that it has ¾” diameter slotted holes in the saddle and in the stirrups. Two bolts are required in the saddle and three in each of the stirrups. This hanger is finished with shop primer.
